    Amanda Mbuvi Assistant Professor of Religion,  High Point University

    Amanda Mbuvi is Assistant Professor of Religion at High Point University. She approaches biblical studies from an interdisciplinary perspective, engaging questions of identity and community that are prominent in both the biblical texts and contemporary conversations about how we live with those texts and with each other. Her first book, Belonging in Genesis: Biblical Israel and the Politics of Identity Formation,was recently published by Baylor University Press.

    Dora Mbuwayesango is associate professor of Old Testament at Hood Theological Seminary. She writes and teaches about issues of gender and sexuality in the Hebrew Bible.

    Byron R. McCane is the Albert C. Outler Professor of Religion at Wofford College where he is also chair of the religion department. He has been a field supervisor at excavations in Israel and Jordan.

    Daniel O. McClellan is a scripture translation supervisor for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a Ph.D. student in theology and religion at the University of Exeter.
