In a collection of illuminated manuscript fragments produced at the Benedictine monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos is this illumination on Nebuchadnezzar’s siege of Jerusalem. This section shows the fighting on the city walls and Jeremiah at the bottom left, mourning the loss of Jerusalem.
