Flerova is a master monoprint painter as well as an award-winning book and magazine illustrator, watercolorist and etcher. Born in Moscow in 1943 she emigrated to the United States in the early 1990's, where she created series of paintings depicting Jewish life in a shtetl. She returned to Moscow where she creates wall murals, screens and other interior decorations for private residences as well as public buildings.
