Darius Gilmont is an artist in Tel Aviv, Israel creating colorful and whimsical paintings based on biblical stories and Jewish life. This painting illustrates the sixth weekly Torah portion in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading called Parashat Toldot. It covers Gen 25:19-Gen 28:9.

It was used in a German children’s Torah to illustrate the story of Jacob stealing Esau’s blessing from their father Isaac.
